Volunteers & Field Trip Information

Permission Slips for the SDNo.1 Field Trip have been sent home. 
  • Return Permission Slip and $4 payment by Friday, March 29.
  • Our trip is April 24, rain or shine! 
  • Only trained volunteers may attend.
  • Students will need a packed lunch, comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate clothes.  Also consider sunscreen and/or an umbrella!

Training dates for SDNo.1 Field Trip are on March 5, 6, and 11th.  Be sure to return the form to sign up with Mrs. Fritz!  Only trained volunteers will be able to attend the field trip.


Any parent/guardian planning to volunteer in the classroom or attend field trips during the school year MUST submit a Youth Leader Request Form. Please fill this out as soon as possible and submit to the state with the $10 processing fee!  (It can take up to 12 weeks for the state to process your paperwork!)  Approval is good for a 3 year period.
