We are well into the school year, and our daily schedule seems to be set! The students move around a lot during the day, which offers great benefits to their learning opportunities. Continue to encourage your child to complete homework each day, to have a positive attitude toward school, to eat well, and to get enough rest each night. I am lucky to spend a great deal of time with these children… I want each of them to have a great 3rd grade experience! Thank you for supporting our efforts!

Moving into September...
Terrific Kids + Terrific Minds = Terrific Taylor Mill Tigers!
We have had a FABULOUS first few weeks of school! Jumping right into 3rd grade
curriculum, we are… already switching classes for Reading/ELA, almost finished
with our introductory Writing piece, using Empty Number Lines in Math, and we will
begin switching for Science/Social Studies the week of September 10. The children are doing a great job learning
and following the new procedures, as well as rising to meet the high
expectations. I am “most-impressed” with
this dynamic group of students! What a
wonderful way to start 2012-13!
